A point that’s not getting talked about is all the apparent wreckage that’s been seen so far has shown French made air to ground munitions and short range self defence missiles (similar to American aim 9) not air to air meteor missiles (equivalent to the PL-15). It would appear that the rafales were equipped for air to ground combat and got jumped by PL-15s. So calling this the J10 winning a dogfight is disingenuous at best. Still impressive for china the PL15 missile showing it can achieve results at that range.
